Month 2 - Week 1 - Day 7: I finished a book!!!

Today's Goals
  1. Revise 15 pages of the Manuscript DONE
  2. Write up revision changes for Manuscript
  3. Read one chapter of gladiator book - DONE (Actually, I finished the book!)
  4. Work on outline for the Guild Post
  5. Do 2 pattern repeats for Clapotis
  6. Free write new story
  7. Attempt AC boss battle
Bonus - My dad and I put together the dresser from Ikea (it took about three hours). Check out my Instagram widget to see the finished dresser.

Tomorrow's Goals
  1. Revise 15 pages of the Manuscript

  3. Read one chapter of "The Time Traveler's Guide to Medieval England" (11 chapters = 11 days)
  4. Work on outline for the Guild Post
  5. Do 2 pattern repeats for Clapotis
  6. Free write new story
  7. Attempt AC boss battle
Part of me feels like I didn't get much done today, but then I remember "Oh yeah, that because I spent like three hours putting an Ikea dresser together." I got stuff done! 

I also read the last three chapters in the non-fiction book about Roman Gladiators that I've been reading. I've owned that book for two years, and never got more than half-way through it (even though it is a fun read). I've added a new non-fiction book to my goal for tomorrow. I will do the same thing with that book. Read a chapter a day, and highlight what I find interesting or useful for novel research. 

I feel like my emotions are much more stable. I still have stress and frustration, but now that I'm not using food to numb the "feels" I deal with the emotions as they come. If I feel like I'm getting too stressed or over-whelmed, I call up my friend, Anna. She is great at talking me through my problems and has yet to run away in the opposite direction. I probably owe her a cheesecake or something knitted for all the help she has given me.
