Day 4 - Cleaning house

I had expected to sleep late today, thinking I would be super sore from rock climbing yesterday, but I woke up at 7am and couldn't fall back asleep. I had also hoped to take myself to the movies today, but my right eye is swollen due to my TRAPS and I wasn't in the mode to be in public. So there went my original plan for the day.

Instead, I stayed home and cleaned. All my laundry is washed, the last two cardboard moving boxes have been emptied and sorted. A massive paperwork pile has been vanquished.

All and all, not bad.

Most of the day after that was spent watching the Lizzie Bennet Diaries on youtube. If you are a pride and prejudice fan, then you will probably enjoy this modern take. Well, maybe. It's made in the style of a video blog. Lizzie Bennet is a modern 25 year old grad student. I can't see my Aunt or mom really getting into the modern spin, but the show did win a 2013 primetime Emmy award. I swear I swooned at the scene when Lizzie and Darcy finally got together.

Once I finished the videos up, and did a little bit more cleaning, I got to work remodeling the website for the organization for which I'm the volunteer social media coordinator. Check it out, it's still not done, but it's miles better. I swear, it is! It still has a long way to go to make it clear what the program is about and why people should be interested, not to mention a section of general tips, it's been requested I add a forum (like I know how to do that)... BUT! It's got a fresh coat of paint, a better navigation menu, a whole new template, A BLOG, and it no longer looks like the last time it was updated was over a year ago.

So yeah, I'd say I did pretty good at cleaning things up today.
