About Me

I'm 28-years-old and transplanted from California to Northern Washington. My goal is to get to a healthier weight for a few different reasons.

  1. I have an extremely rare genetic auto-inflammatory condition called TRAPS Syndrome. Being overweight and eating unhealthy increasing inflammation in the body. The more inflammation I have, the more my condition flares up. The closer I am to a healthier weight, the less stress I put on my screwed up inflammatory system.
  2. I am a runner, and I have asthma. The heavier I weigh, the quicker I tire when running and the harder it is for me to breathe. The closer I am to a healthier weight, the less my asthma bothers me and the easier it is to run. Also, I can run for longer distances and time.
  3. I don't like being labeled as obese, nor do I like when my clothes feel tight or show off my back fat. I don't need or want to be twig-thin. I like have soft curves. But there is a difference between healthy curves and jelly rolls.
