Day 9 - Hot chocolate and tips

Got the car back. Repairs totalled over $950... This car better last me another 25 years.

Time for some tips that I use!
  • I've committed to taking the stairs instead of the elevator whenever possible.
  • When making Medifast hot chocolate, slowly add room temp water to contents and stir. Once you get a smooth paste start to stir in hot water. This helps to prevent clumps of powder or a grainy consistency.
  • Find a good tea that you enjoy (without adding sweetener) and keep it stocked at work. Sweet tooth acting up? Drink some tea. Feeling chilled? Drink some tea. Tired of water? Drink some tea! This also helps you get in your daily water requirement.
  • Struggling against the urge to go out for lunch/coffee/smoothies/ with co-workers? Try leaving your debit/credit cards at home (just make sure your car has gas, and that you don't need to do any shopping before you get home)
  • Free snacks in the break room calling your name? Go to the bathroom first. Use that time to remind yourself why eating that snack is not going to help you.
Those are the only tips I can think of right now. I'm so glad that tomorrow is Friday. This week was crazy (I also have to wake up early to get my blood drawn so that I can get my prescription filled.). My goal for this weekend is to complete a tutorial on ChoiceScript (it's a type of programming code for writers.)
