I went on a run today.
Well, it was really more of a jog.
And by jog, I mean a slow jog with several breaks of walking. I maybe 15 pounds lighter, but I still need to build up the lung strength again.
The problem, however, is that my hip is still not healed. It's been feeling better the past week so I thought it would be safe to run. It's not. The pain flared up again. Not as bad as the last time I ran (sometime last month) but it still let me know it wasn't happy.
I revised 15 pages of my manuscript
So between that and the run, I'm feeling happy about today. I also had assignments for the remote job so that took up a few hours of my day
Tomorrow, I work at the retail job, come home and check assignments for the remote job, and then I plan on revising more of the manuscript. I need to stay up late tomorrow night so that I will sleep late on Saturday. Why? Because 1) I close the store on Saturday, which means I won't be home until close to 1am, and 2) I'm scheduled to work Sunday overnight to help with inventory. I need to sleep very late into Sunday, that way I can stay awake into the early hours of Monday, and drive home safely. I'm not looking forward to Sunday. I am looking forward to the day when I can quit the retail job, but as I still haven't found a new industry job, that day is nowhere insight.
